Declaration on accessibility

Sport Kessler GmbH endeavours to make its website and mobile application(s) accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-free Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended, barrier-free accessibility.

This declaration on accessibility applies to the website www.sport-kessler.com.

STATUS OF THE AGREEMENT WITH REQUIREMENTS

This website is partially compatible with conformance level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1’ or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council due to the following incompatibilities/exceptions.

NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:

a. Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

The following areas / aspects of our website do not or only partially fulfil the specified WCAG 2 accessibility criteria:

  • Contrasts
  • Product modules and product configuration
  • Booking process including checkout process

b. Disproportionate burden
The booking of services, in particular of items for hire or service, and associated processes such as the configuration of the booking of such items, the operation of the flyout module for booking and the entire checkout process do not fulfil the requirements for complete keyboard-free operability in accordance with accessibility guidelines. We are of the opinion that a correction would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations. We also offer an accessible overview of the bookable products and telephone booking on the following page.

c Content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

Many, predominantly older PDF documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged so that they cannot be recognised and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.

For other older non-accessible documents that are still exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102, no comprehensive change is currently planned. Please let us know if you have any difficulties with specific documents. We will prepare the content in an accessible format on request and then replace the documents or add accessible alternatives. For new documents, we endeavour to make them accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA-compliant before publication.

Content from third parties, for example PDF documents on insurance content that are not within the sphere of influence of Sport Kessler GmbH, are excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with accessibility regulations.
