That's why we are consistently adding more and more brands and manufacturers to our shop range who have made it their mission statement to take a decisive stand against climate change.

Discover products in our range of functional sportswear and fashion that are made with organic, recycled or reused materials or, for example, with wool from animals that are treated fairly and without any chemical additives, produced using renewable energy and/or transported by clean shipping or manufactured in Germany or Europe.

RECYCLED MATERIALS - PETROLEUM-FREE MEMBRANE - DURABLE

OUR PRODUCTS & BRANDS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

72% of the material in PATAGONIA's products comes from recycled materials. PICTURE ORGANIC CLOTHING even manages to use 100% recycled, organic materials. But other manufacturers have also made the switch and are now using petroleum-free membranes and PFC-free water-repellent fabrics.

Many of our manufacturers are now also involved in environmental projects or have been awarded WWF Eco-Branding.

For us, sustainability also means durability and robust products that don't have to be thrown away every year and replaced with new ones. Companies such as PATAGONIA, the Scandinavian brand NORROENA and the shoe manufacturers LOWA and MEINDL are not the only ones to impress with their repair service, consistent environmental programmes and high-quality workmanship.

Patagonia

Patagonia is continuously working to make its business practices more sustainable:
- no more virgin fibers made from petroleum by 2025
- supports suppliers in reducing emissions
- since 2008: "1% for the planet"
- ecological profit & loss statement: "Is this product worth the environmental costs incurred?"

Picture Organic Clothing

The jointly declared goal of Picture Organic Clothing: to develop casual clothing for snowboarders and skiers with 100% ecological responsibility.
The brand attracted a lot of attention at the ISPO in Munich back in 2009. To this day, Picture products are made from 100% recycled, organic and responsibly produced materials.

Lowa

Lowa shoes will accompany you for years or even decades. To keep it that way, LOWA offers these repair services:

- Resoling
- Heel renewal
- Seam repairs for leather linings or GORE-TEX shoes

Halti

With its sustainable development program, THINK AHEAD, Halti takes responsibility for its social, environmental and financial footprints:

- Since summer 2020: all HALTI products with a water-repellent DWR treatment are completely PFC-free
- products are transported in recyclable plastic bags and cardboard boxes
- Goal: to be CO2 neutral at the main site in Finland in 2022
- WWF Green Office certification

Some of our manufacturers have seized the opportunities of recent years and are relocating their production back to Europe. Others have always traditionally been based in Germany and remain true to these roots.
